Chris Barnard has been involved with horses since leaving school. After gaining his BHSAI at Captain Mark Phillips establishment at Gleneagles in Scotland Chris was offered the opportunity to help manage a private facility called Coole Park Farm in Upstate New York by the ex-manager of Greneagles. After leaving Coole Park Chris went on to ride professionally on both his own horses and those of clients whilst managing various client’s operations.

In 2009 Chris decided to develop his new found skill at course building and chose to become an accredited course designer. He enrolled in the USEF program and after working alongside some of the finest international course designers he achieved his goal and became an “r” rated course designer. Several years later and after more hard work Chris has since been awarded the “R” rated status.

it was whilst he was working at events across the country that Chris realised there was an opportunity to offer for sale unique, high quality show jumps for show organisers, professionals and amateur riders alike. Signature ShowJumps was launched in 2010 and has gone on to provide a great range of high quality, lightweight, long lasting, unique products.
